Letter to Parents:
Parents,
We are excited for Summer Tumbling. Our first week went great! We have a great group of kids and they have a lot of potential! To help capitalize on this potential during this short session, it is essential to have your child practice what they are learning in class at home, in the yard, in the park, or wherever they can get a chance. Each week I will assign specific things for the students to practice, before they leave I ask them specifically what they are going to practice, they usually will add things they want to focus on. This is great! The main thing is to get them stretching and doing those things they can do by themselves often when they are away from class too. We will focus on form and technique when we are together in class. Please visit http://kardiokidzusa.weebly.com/ or follow us on Facebook. To get the most up to date details.
To make the most of class time here are a few other things to remember:
* Make efforts to be on time.
* There are restrooms at the top of the stair and in a room next to the tumbling rooms. Please have children use the restroom before class begins.
* Leotards are preferred for girls (shorts can be worn over the leo) and a snug fitted shirt and gym shorts for boys. Feet should be bare.
* Children are welcome to bring a water bottle to class, (which we will line against one wall) so that they can have a short water break during the class if needed. (We don’t want a lot of water in their stomachs when they are jumping on the trampoline, so we will limit how often we take breaks, but it would be great to have the kids drink the rest of this water on the way home.)
* No jewelry, gum, or candy in class. (This is a safety issue)
* Please use the stairs to the left of the elevator when coming to and exiting from class.
* Students should leave all shoes, socks and any other personal belongings in the 1st room against the wall, before entering the tumbling room. This will help when we transition from class to class.
* Parents and Siblings please view class from the other room. It can be distracting especially for our youngest students to have extra people in the tumbling room.
* Remind your child to practice, practice, practice! :-)
Below is a Summer Calendar (please take note of the weeks we will not be holding class):

* Addition skills may be added to help children advance to their full potential, especially if child is advancing more quickly than the median of the class, or if the coach sees a specific need that the child could benefit from focusing on for a certain period of time. Multi-Level students will typically have specific practice requests from coaches, as children in this class are all working at more advanced, yet different levels. If the calendar need adaptations those will be made and posted on the Website at http://kardiokidzusa.weebly.com/ Please contact coach Mindy (801-807-8817) if you have questions.
